A woman who has been chowing down on an entire block of butter every day for the past five years has shared an update on her health.
Bella, who goes by SteakandButtergal on YouTube and her social media pages, claims she abandoned a vegan diet to go fully carnivore in a bid to improve her autoimmune conditions (eczema and psoriasis) as well as acne, mental health, mood and energy.
Followers of the carnivore diet eat solely animal foods and produce, like meat, poultry, eggs, seafood, fish and some dairy products.

However, Bella has arguably taken it to the next level and is often seen on her YouTube channel chomping on an entire stick of butter - a practice she says she has done now every single day for the past five years.
The influencer snapped back at all her critics, who say they are concerned for her health, by answering her most common questions.
Questions included how heart hasn't stopped and how she's managed to avoid diabetes.

Bella responded: "Not only has my heart not stopped, but I now have more energy to work out, play with my dog and be the most amazing partner to my fiance.”
She also claimed: “A high fat carnivore diet contributes to higher HDL (High-density lipoprotein) levels, which is good cholesterol and my HDL shot up from 73 to 98.
“Lowering your triglycerides is also associated with a lowered heart disease risk and my triglycerides went down from 97 to 15.”
She also made another claim in a follow-up video that all that butter has improved her bloodwork, too.

She explained: "I've been eating butter daily for the past five years and here's a look at my bloodwork."
She said her HDL is 98 and her triglycerides are 15 before adding: "No I'm not concerned about my LDL at all because as board-certified heart surgeon, doctor Philip Ovadia, has said, 'It's not about the LDL, it is all about the ratio.'
"When you divide triglycerides by your HDL, anything that is under two is ideal and mine is 0.15," Bella said with a thumbs up - and of course while eating a block of butter.

However, some health experts and doctors have warned about the carnivore diet which typically excludes fruit, vegetables, legumes, grains, nuts and seeds.
Doctors from the Indiana University School of Medicine recently said the diet could lead to an increased risk of kidney stones.
And Harvard Health Chief Medical Editor Howard E Lewine also said the diet, which is a type of 'keto' diet, can be hazardous.
“While some keto diets can emphasize the intake of healthier mono- and polyunsaturated fats, that's not the case with carnivore diets," he said in a Harvard article. "Animal fat is mostly saturated fat, which is the unhealthiest type of fat because it raises levels of LDL (bad) cholesterol.

“The disadvantage of all keto diets is they tend to raise LDL cholesterol levels in both the short and long term.
"Other longer-term concerns about keto diets, especially the carnivore diet, include the increased risk of kidney stones, gout, and osteoporosis.”
However, others like Dr Shaw Baker MD who wrote the book, The Carnivore Diet, say consuming nothing but meat 'saved his life' while other advocates of the diet like podcaster Joe Rogan claim it helps with weight-loss and alleviating chronic health conditions.
UNILAD has contacted Bella for comment and for evidence of her bloodwork results.
