The woman who accused Diddy and Jay-Z of raping her in 2000 has said there were 'some mistakes' in her statement, but that she still stands by her allegation.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been behind bars since September awaiting trial for a slew of charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking, all of which he's continued to deny.

Combs was indicted by a grand jury following his arrest at the Park Hyatt hotel in Manhattan. He has made three applications to be released on bail, but they have all been denied, according to ABC 7.

Earlier this week, a civil lawsuit which originally named Combs was refiled to also name Jay-Z - real name Shawn Carter - with the woman claiming the pair raped her at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in 2000 when she was 13.

Jay-Z has denied all allegations in a public statement.

The statement - issued via the Roc Nation Twitter account - read in part: "My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a 'lawyer' named Tony Buzbee.

"What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle.

“No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!!

"These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!!"

The rapper went on to say how damaging these claims were to his reputation and to that of his family.

He concluded the statement by stating: "You have made a terrible error in judgement thinking that all 'celebrities' are the same. I'm not from your world. I'm a young man who made it out of the project of Brooklyn. We don't play these types of games.”

Speaking to NBC News, the woman and her lawyers have now stated there are inconsistencies and 'some mistakes' in her story however, she still stands by her allegations.

Buzbee is representing more than 120 accusers who have come forward with allegations against Combs, which he says include 60 males and 60 females, with 25 of them being minors at the time.

He denied the claim that he is blackmailing Jay-Z, branding it 'stupid and laughable'.

LADbible Group previously contacted Jay-Z and Combs' representatives for comment.
