This isn't a joke: Logan Paul is teaming up with Arnold Schwarzenegger to host a slap fighting tournament.
Slap-fighting is basically the ultimate 'dudes rock' sport: two people stand opposite each other and batter each other, with each slap fight consisting of three rounds with one slap per competitor in each round. Three judges score their battle, and a knockout is ruled if a competitor is unable to continue within 30 seconds of being walloped.
The world's best slap fighting stars are set to congregate in Columbus, Ohio, in March for the Slap Fighting Championship, launched and hosted by Paul and Schwarzenegger.
'Prepare to watch some brutal slaps March 5th with me and @loganpaul live and free on Logan’s YouTube and on @fanmio... DON'T MISS IT,' The Terminator legend tweeted.

Paul announced their partnership for the upcoming event during a recent interview with Schwarzenegger on his Impaulsive podcast.
'I love the absurdity of it. I love the idea that two guys could just stand across from each other and just slap each other and see who falls down first. It’s hilarious to me. It’s like, how is that a real event?' Paul also told USA Today.
'I know we’re going to have a great time watching the slap competition as long as we don’t get slapped,' Schwarzenegger said.

PunchDown, a Polish slap fighting organisation, contacted Schwarzenegger previously to see if he'd be interested in a collaboration, which led the actor to watching a compilation of the best slaps on YouTube. 'I thought it was a great idea, because I saw it on video and social media and I thought the audience was extremely enthusiastic,' he said.
Brian Powers, executive director of Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival, then reached out to Fanmio CEO Solomon Engel, who put together the new tournament. After some brainstorming, the pairing of Schwarzenegger and Paul was conceived. 'It’s not that odd. It’s only odd because I could be his grandfather,' the star said.
Paul was initially going to take part, but the fear of being killed put him off. 'I was too scared of getting my brain slapped out of my head. So I backed out. But I’ll gladly watch other crazy people do it,' he said.

'Arnold Schwarzenegger. Logan Paul. Slap Fighting. Just a normal day in the Combat Sports world,' one user reacted on Twitter.
The Slap Fighting Championship will be livestreamed for free on Logan Paul’s YouTube and Facebook channels and on Fanmio.com on March 5.
