For those of you who are suspicious but can't cough up the cash for a private investigator, apparently there's a pretty sure-fire way to tell if your S.O. is cheating.
With all the warnings out there about relationships and what can go wrong, it seems easier to just remain single.
Whether it be an expert warning about the 'slippery slope' relationship trend that can easily risk a break-up or your partner actually going out and doing the deed, it's not always easy as keeping an eye on your partner's phone use if you have your suspicions - and you certainly don't want to accuse them unless you know they're guilty.

Thankfully - or not thankfully, depending on which way you see it - Connecticut PI Ray Ranno revealed during his stakeouts on suspected male cheaters they often regularly do one thing ahead of meeting up with their mistress.

While Ranno noted stakeouts can be pretty boring, they become more interesting when he picks up on the signs, which allows him to predict on what will happen next.
Speaking on the Locked In with Ian Bick podcast earlier this year, the private investigator weighed in with his expert opinion.

“If a guy's going to pick up his sweetie on the side, he wants a clean car,” Ranno said.
The detective went on to state he would regularly see guys get their car all spruced up before moving ahead with their infidelity.
He continued: “As soon as somebody goes to the car wash I think ‘Ha ha, what's next?’ It’s amazing how they do that. Women not so much. Women don't do it so much because they usually jump in the guy's car, men always want to drive. It's very rare that I see a guy jump into a female's car.”
Ranno explained that after the pair have met, he gets to his part of gathering evidence for the paying party.

He also dismissed the stereotypes of a guy in a fedora and massive trench coat simply taking pictures from a car.
The detective went on to detail his rather tech-savvy gadgets he uses to catch people in the act.
Ranno noted that, while he does have a long-lens camera for picture and video evidence, he also has a fake coffee cup with a high-definition camera inside so that he can tail and observe them in plain sight.

"If I go into a coffee place, or a supermarket wherever I need to be, I just take the lid off turn it on put the cap on and it looks like I'm walking around with a coffee. Meantime I'm videotaping everything," he said.
Once all is gathered, the videos and pictures then go to the person paying him, aka the individual who believes they are being cheated on.
So, keep a vague eye on not just your partner's phone but his car too eh?
