Super spooky drone footage captured in Florida shows a shark sneaking up on oblivious bathers, some of whom were standing in just chest-deep water.
One shot shows two men paddling off the shore of Daytona as the silhouette of what appears to be a shark swims right up to them before zipping away in the other direction.
The same shark – thought to be a blacktip – also swam up to another set of swimmers before creeping up on beachgoers enjoying the water with inflatables.

The eerie clips were caught by Robert Russ and his brother earlier this month, and Russ told Fox 35: “It swam towards multiple people before realising they were not food and moving on.
“It was unnerving at moments to watch this since there are quite a few people bitten here, but [it] confirms they are generally unintentional bites."

Last year, unprovoked shark bites in the USA made up 64 percent of the global total, according to data compiled by the University of Florida.
47 confirmed cases of unprovoked bites were recorded in the US in 2021, more than anywhere else in the world.
Figures indicate shark bites in the US are up 42 percent from 2020, when only 33 bites were logged, and out of all America’s states, most bites occur in Florida.
The International Shark Attack File reports that blacktips, like the one captured in Russ’s drone footage, are responsible for around 15 percent of the unprovoked bites that have occurred since 1926.

Just last month, a man was left with a ‘shredded’ leg following a shark attack at another Florida beach.
Robert Alexander, who was at Jacksonville Beach when the incident occurred on 30 July, said he heard people screaming and claimed to have spotted the shadow of a 7ft-long ‘shark-like figure’ in the water.
Robert said he was able to grab hold of the man and get him to safety.

Speaking to News4JAX, he said: 'I started splashing, making a lot of loud noises and next thing I know it was kind of tunnel vision, and I grabbed him, put him on his boogie board."
Robert also said the attack left the man’s lower leg ‘pretty much in shreds’.
He shared: “His foot was dangling as we were carrying him to shore.
“You could tell he had no movement in his foot and I kept telling him to keep eye contact with me.”
