The NFL's Super Bowl could be making its way across the pond to the UK.
While American football is largely popularity with, well, Americans, there has been an increase in interest of the sport in the UK in recent years.
For the 2019 international series - hosted at both Wembley and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - it was found that tickets at Tottenham were 12 times oversubscribed and went on to sell out within 45 minutes.
Meanwhile, according to the NFL itself, there are a whopping 13 million fans in the UK, with 4 million labelling themselves as 'avid fans', a 2019 survey found.

With this in mind, there's now some interest in possibly hosting a future Super Bowl (arguably one of the biggest annual sporting events in America) here in Britain.
But before you start cancelling your future February holidays, it's going to be a while before the event potentially lands on English soil.
As it stands, the next three Super Bowls have already been pencilled in.

2024's is being hosted Las Vegas, with the 2025 Super Bowl taking place in New Orleans.
Then the 2026 Super Bowl will be hosted in California - so no sign of any taking place in the UK for the next couple of years.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell addressed the prospect of the Super Bowl coming to the capital city of London in fan forum last week.
He said: "It is not impossible, and it is something that has been discussed before."

Goodell added: "I think that is not out of the question. But at the end of the day, I think right now our formula will stay the same about playing [Super Bowls] in cities that have franchises."
As many football fans will know, the Super Bowl isn't just about football, but also the epic halftime show that's put on as well.
This year saw Rihanna take to the stage for the first time in years, where she announced that she was pregnant with her second child.

And now the 2024 performer has now been announced - 'Burn' hitmaker, Usher.
"It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before," he said in a statement at the time of the announcement.
"Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon."
Usher will be performing some of his hit songs at the Las Vegas Allegiant Stadium on February 11, 2024.
