People are flooding to social media in support of NHL player Nic Kerdiles' ex-fiancé, Savannah Chrisley, after she spoke out about his passing.
American professional ice hockey forward, Nic Kerdiles, passed away yesterday (Saturday, 23 September) after being involved in a motorcycle accident.
The 29-year-old's former fiancé, Savannah Chrisley - who he was engaged to from Christmas Eve 2018 until 2020 - has since addressed Kerdiles passing, taking to her Instagram to pay tribute to the ice hockey star.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department told WKRN Kerdiles was involved in a motorcycle accident at around 3:30am, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Kerdiles was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center but sadly passed away.
The driver of the SUV involved in the collision with Kerdiles is reported as having stopped after the crash and no charges are expected to be filed against them.

Yesterday, Chrisley shared a video and image to her Instagram story of her and Kerdiles - the video of them kissing and the picture from their engagement photoshoot.
The video caption reads: "I'm still hoping you respond to my text."

Kerdiles played with the Anaheim Ducks when in the National Hockey League. The team took to X - formerly known as Twitter - to confirm Kerdiles' passing.

"Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to his family and loved ones."
Others have also flooded to social media to pay tribute to the 29-year-old and show their support to his family and friends.

Taking to Chrisley's Instagram account, one user wrote: "Thoughts and prayers are with you Savannah 🙏 so sorry to hear about Nic."
"So so sorry about the loss of Nick. today! Prayers going up," another added.
A third commented: "I’m so sad about Nic. RIP."
