People are flooding to social media in support of a TikToker who spoke out against being charged for her work uniform.
Ah work uniforms. You think you've escaped having to wear a uniform once you graduate from high school but then you're slapped with an unattractive T-shirt to lob on as you serve customers. Working at a likely poorly paid role you've launched yourself into in a desperate bid to leave home and survive in the adult world.
While they save the faff and hassle of figuring out what to wear every morning, uniforms are never exactly stylish, and then being forced to cough up an hour's pay to wear it?

Well, one TikToker is so unimpressed she resolved to quit her job. Prepare to feel empowered to walk out of the job you've been wanting to quit for months:
Indie Kay - who goes by @indie_kay on the platform - took to TikTok earlier this year to explain why she 'love[s] quitting jobs'.
The video caption reads: "From the job I quit last summer lmao the owner came in and made a joke they didn't remember employeese names and I was [peace sign]."

In the post, Indie explains: "I'm just gonna say it, I love quitting jobs. I'm gonna quit a job as much as I want. If I don't like working there if I don't like the vibe, I'm gonna quit.
"I just got charged $13.50 for a work shirt at my new job and they didn't tell me that they were gonna charge me, so I think I'm gonna quit.
"Um that was rude, why would you do that?"

Indie goes on to recall previously quitting another job because 'this lady kept starting fires in the back in the kitchen'.
"And the management didn't do anything," the TikToker claims.
Going back to her current/ recently quit job, she adds: "I'm also quitting this job because there's like really no parking and I don't want to have to pay to park where I work so yeah."

One TikTok user said: "I'm coming to find out it's difficult to aquire important things like a home or a car without reliable long-term job, so other then that your good!"
"Thank you. These businesses need more people to do this. Let them know they can't get away with things anymore," another said.
A third commented: "I love this generation."
