Hilarious theories have been coming in thick and fast over what the 'creepy' snap actually is, but don't worry, there is a simple explanation.

Taking to Twitter someone posted the picture with the caption: "I ALMOST LANDED THIS PLANE MYSELF."
The photograph in question appears to depict a hooded alien with one black beady eye on show glistening and gawping directly at the passenger who snapped the photo.
Rushing to the comments, one person posted a gif of the 'not real' woman adding: "Maybe that's who she was talking about."
Okay, you remember the lady that went viral for yelling the plane wasn't safe and somebody at the back of it was 'not real'? Well, she became meme. Jog your memory:
Anyway, this is what she said: "You can say whatever you want, I'm telling you I'm getting the f*** off and there's a reason why I'm getting the f*** off and everyone can either believe it or they cannot believe it, I don't give two f***s.

"But I am telling you right now that motherf***** back there is not real!
"And you can sit on this plane and you can die with him or not... I'm not going to."
Back to the comments, and again someone referenced her: "The way I would crash out would have y’all thinking I’m worse than that white lady crashing out on that plane. I’m bout to crash out rn in fact."
Finally someone asked the original poster what it was, and they replied: "That mf not from here bro, idek what it is."

While a second added: "I woulda jumped out."
But people were still no closer to guessing what on Earth it is, so someone asked: "Can someone explain what this is…positioned my phone all round but still can’t figure out what it is."

Eventually we actually got an answer, with one person commenting: "Black Earbuds with a hair strand over the ear.. hoodie over the face."
Now when you explain it like that it seems obvious, but I guess it just doesn't have the same ring to it as aliens, does it?
