Chaotic bodycam footage reveals the moments police arrived to Carly Gregg's home to find her mother deceased and her stepfather injured.
On March 19, Gregg reportedly fatally shot her own mother, Ashley Smylie, at their home in Brandon, Mississippi.
Gregg, who was 14 at the time of the incident, later shot her stepfather, Heath Smylie, in the shoulder.

In video footage taken after Gregg reportedly murdered her mother, the teenager is seen sat in the kitchen with her dogs as she played on her cellphone.
Reportedly Gregg was texting with a friend, whom she asked to come over because of an 'emergency'.
She then proceeded to ask them upon their arrival if they are 'squeamish around dead bodies' before Gregg took her friend to her bedroom where her dead mother was, prosecutors claim.

New York Post reports Gregg shot her mom because she discovered her 'secret life' with drugs.
Now, as Gregg's trial continues, the court was shown footage taken from police officer Hunter Lewis' bodycam. He was one of the many members of law enforcement to be on hand at the scene.

Upon entering the home, Gregg was nowhere to be seen as she had already fled.
As Officer Lewis walked around the property, Smylie could still be heard hysterically crying outside.
During the time the distressing footage was shown to the court, Gregg - now 15 years old - cried into her hands.
The video proceeded to show numerous emergency service members in the home as Smylie was taken off on a stretcher to receive further medical treatment.

Smylie has since given testimony in court and recalled the moment his stepdaughter shot at him.
"Everything seemed pretty normal, and I came on in. When I opened the door to the kitchen, the gun went off in my face before the door was three or four inches wide open," he said.
"The gun flashed in my face. It went off two more times, but my hand was on the gun after the first shot, and I twisted it from Carly."

Smylie ended up with an injured shoulder after a bullet grazed him.
He continued to tell the court: "She was screaming out of her mind scared. It was like she had seen a demon or something.
"She was terrified. My first thought was there was an intruder somewhere and she thought she was after someone else."
Gregg has pleaded not guilty to the charges she's facing.
