Bodycam footage has shown the moment the wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner was arrested after being shot by police.
Earlier this month on April 8, cops descended on the Los Angeles neighborhood of Eagle Rock, after reports of a hit-and-run on the 134 Freeway.
Three suspects reportedly fled the scene, prompting a huge manhunt from California Highway Patrol officers.

While searching for the trio, police became entangled with Jillian Lauren Shriner, the wife of Weezer's bassist, Scott Shriner.
The 51-year-old was allegedly armed with a handgun from her front yard and was pointing it at officers.
Now, bodycam footage has revealed the moment cops instructed the New Jersey-born author to drop the weapon before they opened fire.

The mom, who recently revealed she is battling cancer, suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the shoulder and was absentee booked on suspicion of attempted murder, while she sought hospital treatment for the injury.
In the newly-released footage, home camera surveillance shows Shriner walking out of her LA home with a handgun.
In the next scene, police bodycam footage shows cops peering over the fence and telling her to drop the weapon multiple times.
The dramatic scene shows officers calling for backup for a '415' (disturbing the peace) before eventually drawing firearms themselves.

Throughout the altercation, the cops talk about Shriner 'walking away' while 'armed'.
While talking amongst themselves, they could be heard saying 'if she lifts that gun,' likely meaning they would be forced to shoot her.
"Ma'am, we're trying to help you," an officer could be heard shouting from behind the fence before asking her again to drop the gun and put her hands up.

"Drop the gun, you're going to get shot," another officer adds. "You're going to get shot. It's the police!"
"It's the California Highway Patrol," says another.
Law enforcement continue to try to engage with the woman but some cops lose sight of her.
"I can't see, what is she doing right now?" one cop says, to which another replies: "I have her taking steps back."

"Hey she just pointed it. Not at us but she just lifted it up," another cop says before a flurry of gunshots break out and they confirm on their walkie talkies that shots were fired.
A snippet of footage from Shriner's home cameras also appears to show her lifting the gun towards officers' direction.
Cops then arrest her while wounded and laying face down on the floor after taking a bullet to her shoulder.
LAPD have also released a series of images which shows Shriner's firearm, shells from the bullets and her injuries.
The latest comes as Scott confirmed his wife was 'alright' after the incident, telling reporters outside his home just days later: "She's alright, thank you for asking. See you at Coachella."
Police later confirmed the chaos unfolded when a suspect from the hit-and-run apparently entered her neighbor's property.
The man reportedly fled the scene and attempted to hide from officers by stripping down to his underwear and swimming in a resident's pool.
He also watered the plants in a bizarre attempt to try to blend in as a resident.
Shriner allegedly told officers that she was simply defending her home from the suspect that was running loose in the neighborhood.
She has been released after posting $1 million bond and is due to appear in court on April 30.
