The heartbreaking last words of a 10-year-old boy have been revealed after his foster mom pinned him down and sat on him.
Dakota Stevens died after his foster mom Jennifer Lee Wilson allegedly suffocated him after sitting on him at their home in Valparaiso, Dakota.
A recording obtained from a Ring doorbell camera appears to show Wilson allegedly saying: "I was laying on him and he was acting bad."

An affidavit stated that Wilson was 'visibly distraught' when police arrived at the scene.
Upon their arrival, police found that Dakota was not breathing and did not have a pulse.
The 10-year-old was taken to a nearby medical facility by air ambulance, where he was placed on life support.
Tragically, he was taken off life support just two days later.

Dakota was reported to weigh 91 pounds and Wilson weighed 340 pounds.
Not long before emergency services arrived, Dakota had made an attempt to ask for help.
The affidavit stated Dakota had run to a neighbour's home and asked them to 'adopt him'.

He claimed that he wanted them to adopt him because his parents would hit him in the face.
Dakota's foster mom then arrived at the house to take him home, just 30 minutes before emergency services were called to the house.
In a report, police said that Dakota had bruising on his neck and chest after the incident, and his death was ruled to have been a homicide.
Two months after Dakota's death, an arrest warrant was issued for Wilson on suspicion of reckless homicide, which is a felony that is punishable by up to six years in prison.

Wilson was arrested in Berrien County Michigan according to a press release from the county sheriff's office.
She is currently being held in custody by Michigan police on a fugitive of justice warrant.
At present, court records do not indicate that Wilson has entered a plea in relation to the charge of reckless homicide.

The affidavit also stated that Wilson admitted to lying on top of Dakota for five minutes, before the 10-year-old stopped moving causing mechanical asphyxia.
Dakota had been placed with Wilson just a month prior to the incident by the Department of Child Services.
Wilson also reportedly has three other adopted children who are living with her in her house.
Brian Heinemann is a spokesperson for the Departmant of Child Services, and confirmed that Wilson's licence to be a foster parent is on hold and its revocation is pending.
