Trump's would be assassin's explicit final internet search revealed

Trump's would be assassin's explicit final internet search revealed

Thomas Matthew Crooks' search history has been analysed by authorities

The search history belonging to the man who tried to assassinate Donald Trump has been revealed.

Last weekend, the former US president was almost killed while speaking at a rally in Pennsylvania.

Trump was on stage when gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks - who was hiding on a roof 150 meters away - fired several shots in his direction.

Incredibly, Trump tilted his head at the exact moment and managed to avoid a fatal injury.

Instead, the bullet grazed his right ear.

Tragically, two other people were critically injured during the incident and one man, 50-year-old Corey Comperatore, died.

As the incident unfolded, the gunman was shot dead by a Secret Service sniper.

Over the last few days, the assassination attempt has been investigated by the FBI and Crooks' search history analysed.

Although initial attempts to access the Samsung phone failed, authorities have now been able to analyse the device and have discovered what the 20-year-old had been searching for in the days leading up to the shooting.

A source has revealed that his final online search was for pornography, although this is 'not unusual' they told the Daily Beast.

The source - who did not want to be named - noted that the Sandy Hook shooter, Adam Lanza, had images of child abuse on his device. Suspected members of al Qaeda have also been found to have disturbing pornography searches.

According to The Post, other concerning findings included searches for Oxford High School shooter, Ethan Crumbley, as well as other mass shooters.

Crooks also looked up both Trump and president Joe Biden.

Crooks, a kitchen worker, was armed with an AR-style rifle when he was discovered.

He lived in a small Pittsburgh suburb in Bethel Park in Pennsylvania, just 43 miles away, and graduated in 2022 from Bethel Park High School with a $500 prize for maths and science.

Since the shooting, it has emerged that he also shared some chilling words online ahead of the terrifying incident.

According to Fox News, US senators were briefed at a meeting on Wednesday (July 17), where all-members were asked to be present. It was there where it emerged that the killer wrote an eerie message on the gaming platform Steam before the event unfolded.

Steam users can purchase, play and even create games on the platform.

Crooks is alleged to have wrote: “July 13 will be my premiere, watch as it unfolds.”

Despite Crooks - whose mom and dad reported him missing to the police on the day of the incident - shooting at Trump, State voter records showed that he was in fact registered as a Republican.
