Donald Trump has taken aim at Miley Cyrus after praising her dad Billy Ray on stage as a 'great conservative guy'.

As if there isn't enough going on in the Cyrus family at the moment anyway, with leaked audio revealing Billy Ray 'screaming' at wife Firerose, former president of the US Donald Trump has piped up too.

Following an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Trump was back on stage in Nashville, Tennessee over the weekend.

On Saturday (27 July), Trump spoke at the annual Bitcoin Conference, promising to make sure the country becomes the 'crypto capital of the planet and bitcoin superpower of the world'.

And who should suddenly get a shout out in Trump's speech but Billy Ray Cyrus - Nashville being the home of country music and Billy Ray reportedly among the crowds at the event.

In a clip from the vent shared to Twitter, Trump can be seen telling the audience 'Billy Ray Cyrus is here' before questioning where he's located in the crowds.

Trump continues: "He's around here someplace and he's great, he's a Conservative guy."

But as well as praising Billy Ray, Trump also seemed to get a dig in at his daughter Miley.

Rumors of a feud between father and daughter started circulating after Miley didn't attending Billy Ray's wedding to Firerose, and then failed to mention her father in her acceptance speech after winning her first Grammy.

She also said in a recent interview she 'inherited narcissism' from her father.

Trump seemed to hint at the family rift, saying at the rally: "I said: 'How did you get such a liberal daughter? How did that happen Billy Ray?'"

And it's not taken long for people to flood to social media to weigh in, convinced Trump is talking about none other than Miley.

One Twitter user said: "Trump coming after Miley Cyrus was not on my bingo card for this year."

"Because it’s not 1924 anymore and women are allowed to think for themselves," a second added.

And a third said: "Can someone confirm if he was there? Be hilarious if he wasn’t."

Despite Miley having previously broken down in tears in 2016 after Trump became president, the 'Wrecking Ball' singer ultimately 'accept[ed]' him as the 45th president of the US.

She said in a video uploaded to her Instagram at the time she believed Hilary Clinton 'deserved to be the first female president' and she 'just wish that she had that opportunity because she fought for so long' and because the singer believed her when Clinton said she 'loves' America.

Miley continued: "But like Donald Trump so ironically claimed after his speech, he said, 'You can't always get what you want.'

"And Happy Hippies, we adjust, and we accept everyone, who they are. And so, Donald Trump, I accept you. And it's hard to say, but I even accept you as president of the United States."
