An Oregon nurse has been found dead after she failed to show up for work.
Melissa Jubane had just experienced some of the best days of her life after marrying her fiancé Bryan Llantero, on the island of Honolulu, Hawaii, on 24 August.
After returning back to the US, the St. Vincent Hospital nurse did not turn up for work on 4 September.

Beaverton Police say this raised concerns among Mellisa's nearest and dearest in Southwest Portland, and a subsequent police search was launched.
KHON reports the last time Bryan heard from his wife was at around 6am on the morning of the shift she didn't turn up to.
A press release published by the Beaverton Police Department read: "Beaverton Police officers responded to Melissa’s residence at 1050 SW 160th Avenue, in Beaverton. Upon arrival, officers were met by staff from the apartment complex and conducted a search of Melissa’s apartment.

"Melissa was not present, and her absence without communication was deemed unusual and alarming.
"Efforts by officers and family members to contact Melissa throughout the day were unsuccessful, as her phone appeared to be turned off. Additionally, searches of Melissa’s bank and credit card records yielded no new information regarding her location."
On Friday (6 September), Mellisa's remains were found by the law enforcement after an extensive search by local authorities.
Subsequently, Mellisa's neighbor has been taken in by police for questioning and is under arrest.

"As a result of an extensive investigation, it was determined that one of Melissa’s neighbors, 27-year-old Bryce Johnathan Schubert of Beaverton was involved in her disappearance," the press release on Facebook added.
"Schubert was arrested this evening and charged with Melissa’s murder. Melissa Jubane’s remains have been recovered.
"This is an active investigation. While we acknowledge the significant community interest and concern, we must withhold further details to preserve the integrity of the investigation."
