Many have spotted an 'embarrassing' detail during Donald Trump's latest cabinet meeting involving Pete Hegseth, the US Secretary of War.

President Trump chaired his latest cabinet meeting on Tuesday (December 2) at the White House, and at one point, appeared to doze off during proceedings.

Before being spotted resting his eyes, Trump had once again hit out at journalists for their lines of questioning, stating: “You always find something new, like, 'Is he in good health?'" before sarcastically adding: "Biden was great."

"I sit here and do four news conferences a day. I ask questions from very intelligent lunatics. You people. I give the right answers. There's never a scandal. There's never a problem. I give you answers and solve your little problems,” Trump continued.

"You go back, and you can't find anything, but you do, you do stories about Biden was in wonderful health. The guy couldn't do a news conference for eight months."

“If I go one day, I had one day where I didn't do a news conference. 'There's something wrong with the President'," he added.

That wasn't the main talking point of the cabinet meeting, however, with Hegseth's nameplate being discussed online.

Officials misspelt his title as 'SSECRETARY OF WAR', making for a rather embarrassing typo being played out in the public eye by the White House.

While some have remarkably suggested the 'SS' could be deliberate to suggest links to the Nazi party - which isn't, of course, accurate - the more likely outcome here is certainly a White House official simply made a typo while making the nameplates for this cabinet meeting that was broadcast across the world.

UNILAD has reached out to the White House for comment.

The cabinet meeting, which ran for two hours and 17 minutes, featured a host of subjects, including Trump’s hardened stance on tackling drugs being trafficked into the country, concerns about his health and an unhinged rant singling out Somali migrants.

But users on social media couldn't help but notice Trump’s waning attention and the moment he appeared to nod off, earning him both the title of ‘Dozy Don’ and ‘Commander in Sleep’.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt immediately hit back at the comments, however, saying to the Daily Mail: "President Trump was listening attentively and running the entire three-hour marathon Cabinet meeting."

Tuesday's kip is the third such time in recent weeks that the president has been accused of sleeping in meetings.
