A mom-to-be has spoken out, claiming her boss fired her by text soon after she announced her pregnancy.
Whether it's being broken up with or fired from your job, the absolute worst way to do either has got to be via text.
And one pregnant woman has since taken to social media to reveal the circumstances surrounding her boss texting her to tell her she'd been let go.
Amy Tobinn took to her TikTok account - where she goes by the username @amy.tobinn - to reveal she was fired 'via text' on the morning of 6 February.

The first time mom-to-be claims she emailed her company the day before, explaining she was suffering from 'pregnancy-related illness' and had a 'medical certificate' but was also 'happy to get a letter from the doctor' to support her need to take a day off work.
Amy then shares a screenshot of the shocking iMessage she received at 7:47am, allegedly from her boss.
The message reads: "Good morning Amy, Not sure if you were working today, we've been decided to cease your employment yesterday due excessive sick leave as you're still in your probation period.

"Please return your work items, Monitors, laptops etc today or tomorrow.
"I have an 8:00am appointment and I'll call you after that. I'll prepare a formal letter this morning."
Amy adds: "It's also the 'not sure if you're working today' even though the medical certificate says I'll be back today and you've texted me at 7:47am in the morning when my shift starts at nine."
The soon-to-be mom claims she'd had no 'prior talking to about performance' either and it's not taken long for other social media users to flood to the comments to weigh in on the post.

One TikToker said: "Go to fairwork. I had this happen during my pregnancy last year and I won my court case xx."
"Fair work call today. Also any meeting they want with you, they have to allow you a support person. If they don’t offer that add that to your list for fair work," another added.
A third commented: "Outrageous, but love that it’s in writing for your Fairwork evidence!"

And a fourth resolved: "I’m so sorry this happened to you. I work in HR and deal with terminations etc all the time. They made a risky decision! Contact FW for advice."
UNILAD has contacted Fairwork for comment.
