A set of parents who noticed their baby daughter's hair was falling out in clumps made a shocking discovery on their home camera.
Umar Abdullah and his wife, Samira, from Tampa, Florida, noticed something wasn't quite right with their little girl after they came home from a family trip to Ohio.
First off, as soon as they returned, they noticed their apartment smelt different, with Umar describing it as a 'weird, chemical smell'.
After searching and failing to find the source of the odour, things became even more concerning when all three began to feel unwell.

Umar and Samira both had severe headaches, while their 10-month-old baby stopped eating and started being sick.
Podcaster Mr Ballen - who spoke to Umar about what happened - explained: "Over the next few days, their symptoms continued to get worse and worse. Umar's headache went from really bad to absolutely blinding.
"He couldn't do anything else but think about his headache and Samira had to lay down all day no matter how much she slept she had zero energy.

"Their poor baby just continued to cry and fuss all the time and even began to vomit."
As the family tried to recover from what they believed to be an illness caught on their trip, Umar made a terrifying discovery - his daughter's hair was falling out in clumps.
But even more bizarrely, while getting ready to take her to the doctor, Umar noticed his own hair was falling out, too.
Realising something was seriously wrong, Umar returned to the mysterious smell that was plaguing their apartment.

He checked the water heater, even replacing it, but the smell returned.
Umar set up a hidden camera in a plant pot outside the front door, to see if it could help him understand what was happening after suspicions that someone could have been tampering with their property.
But he never imagined to discover his neighbour, Xuming Li, injecting liquid onto their door frame and their home.

After conducting tests, it was discovered that Li was using a substance containing various toxic chemicals.
It turns out that Li had been making noise complaints against the family for months, ever since their little one arrived.
Apparently, Li said he could hear footsteps, drawers closing and the family's toilet seat, but the landlord found no evidence of noise.

Li faced charges including stalking, burglary and possession of a controlled substance, but was deported to China before the hearing.
"ICE deported him before the hearing," a representative for the 13th Judicial Circuit state attorney's office told LawandCrime.
"The judge issued a capias warrant, which essentially means if he were to ever try to enter the country again, he would face those charges again.
"Technically, it will remain a pending case in our office because if he were to enter the country again, he would face the charges."
