Bad news for all Grand Theft Auto lovers out there as the sixth instalment in the video game saga is still nowhere to be seen.
Actor Ned Luke, who voices Michael De Santa from GTA V, marked the 10th anniversary of the game with a video message to fans on TikTok.
Those who were expecting a positive announcement to celebrate the milestone were sorely disappointed as Luke's update on GTA VI was merely one to assure it'll be very much worth the wait.

Released on September 17, 2013 by Rockstar Games, the fifth chapter is to be followed by a new instalment, though Luke advised fans not to hold their breath and forget about it for the time being.
"It's Ned Luke aka Michael De Santa from Grand Theft Auto V," the actor said in a clip posted to his TikTok page.
"All right, so we just crossed the threshold of 10 years, right? 10 freaking years of GTA V... I just want to give a big shout-out to the fans because we all know [...] the fans are the game," he continued, adding: "So thanks a lot. 10 years. Keep playing."
Luke asked fans to be patient for just a little longer, assuring the sixth chapter will be 'even more worth the wait' than V.

"And only what, maybe five of those years was 'where the f*** is GTA VI?' Patience guys. It'll be worth the wait. Trust me. GTA V was worth the wait, GTA VI is gonna be even more worth the wait," he said.
Finally, he left fans with some solid advice in pure Michael De Santa style, making sure GTA VI becomes a low-priority thought until it is actually out on the market.
"So keep playing V, have fun and remember... you forget a thousand things every day, how about you make sure this is one of them?" he said in a convincing tone, before finishing off with Michael's infamous line: "And stop firing rockets at my house!"

One fan commented: "We forgotten at least 3,650,000 things since GTA 5 came out…"
While another added: "Time flies! Congratulations on making it to 10 years!"
Another fan took the time to hail GTA V by saying: "Ima be honest gta6 is not beating gta5 the graphics might be better but the memories of gta 5 cant be beat."
Luke's message has others speculating on whether Luke will appear in the latest instalment.

One said: "please tell me your[sic] in gta 6 and Trevor and Franklin."
Another added: "NED LUKE in Gta 6, calling it."
It's undeniable that gaps in between releases have been widening.
For example, GTA IV dropped in 2008, 'only' five years before it was followed by V in 2013.

Even though Luke's update probably wasn't the news fans wanted, it's an update nonetheless as Rockstar Games is understood to be focusing on Red Redemption 3 in the meantime, resulting in a longer wait before GTA VI hits shelves.
