We're all familiar with stunning pictures of the Apollo 11 astronauts standing on the moon in 1969, but lesser-seen footage of the NASA workers offers such a contrasting view that some people are struggling to believe it's real.
Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first men to stand on the moon in 1969, and space exploration and research has come a long way since then.
We've had Elon Musk send a Tesla into space and two astronauts unfortunately get 'stuck' on the International Space Station for nine months - but the historic 1969 moon landing will always be able to capture attention.
Iconic images from the moon landing emerged after the mission, but most of them are majestic shots of the American flag and the astronauts standing strong on the surface of the planet.

However, one video captured by NASA shows the reality of walking on the moon, and it's not as graceful as you might think.
In the clip, which has since been shared on Twitter, the astronauts can be seen struggling to hold their balance and move around in zero gravity.
They even seem to get a little frustrated at times in the short video - despite the fact they're living out an experience most people can only dream of.
While it's pretty hard to say what you'd look like without gravity without ever having experienced it, the video has proved so shocking to some viewers that people have started to doubt whether it's real at all.

"Hollywood movie set, definitely.... stuntmen in costume," one Twitter user wrote after watching the clip, as another commented: "Idc what yall say the moon landing was fake and these people are struggling to walk because they’re on wires."
"That doesn't look like they are on a harness at all. Crazy how their hips are always held up no matter what.....," another unconvinced viewer wrote.
But in spite of the speculation surrounding the video, other people were more sympathetic to the first men on the moon.

"They were probably terrified they'd float off. I can't imagine what it's like being on that tiny rock and looking at the Earth. Like the Earth was going to eat me," one commented.
Another wrote: "Even the best stumble sometimes! Proof that greatness comes with a few bounces along the way."
The issue with trying to walk on the moon comes due to its lack of gravity, meaning everything on the moon only weighs about 17 percent of what it would weigh down on earth. Needless to say, that’s going to make walking as you would down here difficult - the astronauts essentially had to take their first steps all over again!
