A Tesla fan waited a painstaking five years to get his hands on a Cybertruck - only for the vehicle's brakes to reportedly malfunction, sending it crashing into a neighbor's home.
Since the first fleet of Tesla Cybertrucks were released in November 2023, drivers have filed a series of complaints about the car.
One guy reportedly broke his finger on the car's front trunk, while others seem to struggle parking the 6ft-wide vehicle - Pharrell Williams included.

Elsewhere, some people have just grown tired of the attention you get when behind the wheel of a Cybertruck.
But this guy hardly got to experience his car for himself (and any potential issues it might have) as within four hours of buying it, the electric vehicle smashed into a nearby neighbor's house.
The disappointed Cybertruck owner took to social media to share the ordeal, including shocking CCTV footage of the moment it happened.
In the clip, his truck is seen going down a hill when it all of a sudden accelerates and smashes into someone's front porch.

According to the owner the 'back brakes locked' while the car was accelerating and the steering wheel became 'non-responsive'.
The driver, who goes by @bfreshwa on X, revealed that the car cost him $109,000 after taxes and he had it for a mere five hours.
"Waited 5yrs for the girl and never connected to house WiFi," he added.

Fortunately no one was hurt in the incident, but the same can't be said for the guy's car.
Speaking to Tesla about the ordeal, apparently the man was told that 'depressing the brake may or may not disengage accelerator' and he now has to speak to his insurer about having the car fixed; something which could take up to a year.
The repairs will reportedly cost him around $30,000.
The ordeal comes after Tesla recently recalled almost all of its Cybertrucks for a fourth time.

The recall is in relation to vehicles manufactured from November 13, 2023, to May 26, 2024, and was predicted to affect as many as 11,000 car owners.
Explaining the issue, recall documentation says of the apparent defect: "The Cybertruck is equipped with a cosmetic applique along the exterior of the trunk bed trim, known as the sail applique, which is affixed to the vehicle with adhesive.
"On affected vehicles, the sail applique or adhesion may not have been installed according to specification, which may cause the sail applique to become loose or separate from the vehicle."

There's also said to be problems with some Cybertruck's windscreen wipers not working.
