People have been left stunned by the new video game Unrecord and its dazzling visuals.
Game developer Studio Drama unveiled the first trailer for its latest body-camera shooter game, and many have been doing a double-take with how realistic it looks.
The short clip opens with an officer heading towards an abandoned building covered in graffiti, before checking his weapon and inspecting the scene.

As the officer walks around the vacated lot, he hears commotion from the other side, leading them to kill seven armed suspects roaming the building.
As he continues to inspect, he reaches an interrogation room, which is abruptly interrupted by an explosion.
Viewers were left amazed by the two-minute clip, as one person said: "Just goes to show what makes a game look real isn't just the graphics but how the camera moves as well."

Another commented: "This is the first time I’ve ever seen graphics from a game that look IDENTICAL to reality; you can tell it’s a video game when the gunfire starts, but the first 10 seconds are actually indiscernible from a real-life body cam super clever game design, would love to try it out."
A third marveled: "There's no way in hell that this is gameplay and not real life footage. This is insane."
While a fourth shared: "Easily one of the best first-person cameras I've seen. Combined with the excellent animation, lighting, and materials, it gives a sense of striking realism. Kudos to the artists and engineers who made it happen."

According to Stream, Unrecord is a single-player FPS that tells the story of a tactical police officer from the perspective of his body camera.
As you work to solve a complex case, you'll need to use your tactical and detective skills to succeed.
While the visuals are being praised, the game has also been subject to controversy as some have accused it of glorifying police brutality.
One person wrote: "Making it a cop thing changes the vibes of this entirely idk."

Another said: "Getting the idea that the game isn’t trying to be 'political', but if you use imagery that is so thoroughly politicized, you better have something to say when people ask."
A third commented: "Every cop larper that’s gonna play this should be put on a domestic violence watchlist."
While another said: "Some of y'all are way too excited for this photorealistic police brutality simulator."

It's yet to be seen if the backlash will prevent the game from being released later this year.
