Hogwarts Legacy appears to answer an age-old question: which is the worst Hogwarts House to be a part of?
And it’s bad news for those of you who identify as Ravenclaw, because the new RPG seems to suggest it's the lowest value house. Ouch.
Players are able to link their Harry Potter Fan Club and WB Games accounts to Hogwarts Legacy to be sorted or they can go through the sorting process in game.

Once sorted, whichever house you’re landed in makes no real difference to how the game plays out, except you will have the chance to meet different characters depending on how you’re sorted.
If you’re a sneaky Slytherine, you’ll be introduced to Sebastian Sallow, Gryffindor students meet Natsai Onai, Hufflepuff students will discover Poppy Sweeting and Ravenclaws will meet Amit Thakkar.
All well and good, right? However, a little scroll through Hogwarts Legacy’s trophies reveals that players will receive a bronze trophy once they hit the max relationship mark with Sebastian, Natsai or Poppy - but those who get pally with Amit get sweet FA.

On the plus side, Amit does unlock Hogwarts Legacy's collectible Astronomy Tables - and players can earn the Collector's Edition trophy if they complete all collections scattered throughout the game. All 603 of them… happy hunting.
The game, which was released today, has got off to a flying start and was Steam’s number 1 presale game with over 489,000 players - a record only beaten by Cyberpunk 2077.
And while that number was still on the rise, it has also become the most watched single player game on streaming site, Twitch.
Hogwarts Legacy is expected sell over 10 million copies, even after being delayed twice and the controversy surrounding its release.

Prior to its release, some people were calling for a boycott of the game following comments made by author JK Rowling’s in 2020.
At the time, the Harry Potter author made headlines after a tweet that read: "If sex isn't real, there's no same-sex attraction. If sex isn't real, the lived reality of women globally is erased."
She continued: "I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives."

Rowling was not involved in the game’s production. And developers Avalanche and Warner Brothers included an openly transgender character, Sirona Ryan, which is a first for the Wizarding World.
