As if Adele wasn't already beloved enough, footage has now emerged of her twirling around a pole at a gay club in London.
The Easy On Me singer was born in London and now lives full-time in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, but during a recent visit to her home city she managed to squeeze in not only a beautiful performance at the BRIT Awards, but also a trip to London’s iconic gay club, Heaven.
Footage of the seemingly impromptu trip quickly, and unsurprisingly, spread online after the singer was spotted singing along to It's Raining Men while in the crowd at the club, and taking to the stage to join Drag Race UK star Cheryl Hole.

Check out what happened below:
Adele joined Cheryl in judging Heaven’s G-A-Y Porn Idol stripping contest and was given the honour of choosing the winner, but it seems she couldn't resist having a go on the pole while she was up there.
Viral footage shows Adele wrapping her leg around the pole and spinning to face the crowd before dropping to the floor, prompting screams of delight from the adoring onlookers.

One version of the video racked up more than 87,000 views in less than 12 hours, with social media users wasting no time in expressing their praise for the singer and describe her as 'iconic'.
One tweet reads: 'Yes… that’s the actual Adele pole dancing at G-A-Y’s ‘Porn Idol’ in Heaven nightclub… truly iconic behaviour.'
Another fan commented 'okay but adele pole dancing at heaven wasn’t on my 2022 card but i’m living for it', while a third described Adele as 'queen of everything, queen of England, queen of the music industry, queen of the gays'.

Cheryl Hole gave Adele all the space she needed to own the stage during her appearance at the club, and offered the singer the chance to have the 'final say' on the stripping contest by noting 'you’re f**king Adele and I’m little old Cheryl'.
In a post on Twitter, Cheryl added: 'I’m sorry, not @Adele turning up at my show tonight.'
The Drag Race star later shared pictures on Instagram posing alongside Adele, alongside a caption that read: 'Confirmed: Adele was devastated I was eliminated on Drag Race too. Love you divalina.'

Adele doesn't appear to have commented on her 'iconic' behaviour after news of her appearance spread across the globe, but I think it's safe to say it went down well.
