Elvis star Austin Butler said his heart is 'shattered' as he paid tribute to the singer's daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, following her sudden death.
Lisa Marie was just 54-years-old when she passed away on Thursday (12 January) after being rushed to hospital following a suspected cardiac arrest.
Her mother, Elvis' former wife Priscilla Presley, confirmed the 'devastating' news on Friday, just a few days after the mother and daughter had celebrated the Elvis biopic at the Golden Globes.
Butler portrayed the King of Rock and Roll in Baz Luhrmann's film and on Tuesday thanked the Presley family for opening their 'hearts', 'memories' and 'home' to them during the making of the film.

"Lisa Marie, Priscilla, I love you forever," Butler said as he accepted his Golden Globe.
In response, both Lisa Marie and Priscilla put their hands on their hearts and applauded Butler for his work and kind words.
Following Lisa Marie's death just a couple of days later, Butler released a statement to say the 'tragic and unexpected loss of Lisa Marie' left his heart 'completely shattered' for both her children and her mother.
Lisa Marie is survived by three daughters, actor Riley Keough and twins Finley and Harper Lockwood, as well as Priscilla.

In a statement provided to People, the actor continued: "I am eternally grateful for the time I was lucky enough to be near her bright light and will forever cherish the quiet moments we shared.
"Her warmth, her love and her authenticity will always be remembered."
In 2020, Lisa Marie lost her son, Benjamin Keough, when he took his own life.

Benjamin was buried at Graceland, the home and final resting place of Elvis, and his mother is now set to be laid to rest alongside them.
A representative for Riley Keough commented: "Lisa Marie's final resting place will be at Graceland, next to her beloved son, Ben."
Elvis' daughter became sole heir to the Graceland estate following the death of the singer's grandmother, Minnie Mae Presley, and his father, Vernon Presley.

Just a few days prior to her death, Lisa Marie visited Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee to celebrate what would have been Elvis' 88th birthday on 8 January.
At a party celebrating the biopic that same weekend, Lisa Marie expressed belief Elvis would be proud of the film, saying: "I'm so overwhelmed by this film and the effect that it's had and what Baz has done, Austin's done.
"I'm so proud, and I know that my father would also be very proud. ... I'm overwhelmed with gratitude, so thank you."
