I'm sure loads of actors have hidden talents they're just waiting to show off when the time comes, and Ben Affleck got his epic mic-drop moment when he broke out some incredible Spanish seemingly out of nowhere.
The 50-year-old star has taken on all sorts of characters throughout his career, from the stressed and confused Nick Dunne in Gone Girl to fancy Hollywood agent Jack Giamoro in Man About Town.
Fans have seen Affleck laugh, cry and everything in between, but many had absolutely no clue that underneath it all, he was hiding an entire second language.
The actor most recently takes on the role of Phil Knight in Air, which arrived in cinemas this week. As part of his press tour, Affleck sat down with Spain-based radio station Cadena SER to chat all things Nike - only, he did so in Spanish.

Catching fans completely off guard, the actor said - in Spanish: "What’s important to understand is that this isn’t about Michael Jordan’s story; he doesn’t even appear in the movie."
He went on to explain that Jordan is 'so big, so important, so magnificent that there’s not an actor in the world who could be cast to play him whom the audience would believe'.
“They would immediately think, ‘This is all bullsh*t. This movie is bullsh*t. I don’t believe any of this,'” Affleck continued. “And they would destroy it completely.”
Again, this is all in a language fans had no idea Affleck knew.

The actor barely stumbled as he spoke about the movie, only really catching himself when he paused to try and remember the Spanish translation for the word 'character'.
He figured it out soon enough, though, calling 'Personaje!' simultaneously with someone off camera.
Even fans who can speak Spanish have been left stunned by the interview, which has gone viral after being posted by the radio station.

"He speaks better Spanish than me and Spanish is my mother tongue," one impressed viewer commented.
Another wrote: "What the heck!!! Bro... that's so good," while a third added: "Hearing Ben Affleck speak Spanish this good was not on my 2023 bingo card."
Though it's clear Affleck impressed with his Spanish-speaking skills, he hasn't actually been keeping them a secret.
He previously opened up about how he first learned the language when he was a teenager, shooting a TV series in Mexico.

Speaking on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Affleck went on to explain that his daughter, Violet, inspired him to get better at Spanish after she started to learn herself.
“I don’t mind that I can’t do your math homework," Affleck described saying to his daughter. "But you are not going be better at Spanish than me.”
