Billie Eilish has revealed she misses the teenage version of herself before she became a global popstar.
The 21-year-old shared her emotional revelation during a cover story interview for Vogue focusing on her efforts to fight climate change.

During the interview, climate activist Tori Tsui asked the seven-time Grammy Award winning artist 'how she deals with the weight of millions of people's expectations.'
Eilish responded with a very thought-provoking answer. "It's wild," she replied. "In my head, nobody knows who I am. Nobody knows what I look like.
"I was 13 when I put stuff out for the first time," she said, referencing the songs she released via SoundCloud. "I look back at who I was, when fewer eyes were on me. I grieve that. I strive to be that kid again."
Eilish released her debut single, 'Six Feet Under' through SoundCloud in November 2015, which was re-released through Darkroom and Interscope records a couple of months later.

The song - written and produced by her brother and frequent collaborator, Finneas O'Connell - received a positive reception from critics.
However, the magnifying glass focused on Eilish looks beyond her music and into her personal life as well.
The 'Happier Than Ever' performer recently spoke out about her boyfriend Jesse Rutherford - the lead singer of the rock band the Neighbourhood - after controversy emerged due to their age gap.

They were believed to an item back in October when they were spotted sharing a kiss while on a date in Los Angeles.
Later that month, she shared a snap of them dressed up for Halloween, where they appeared to poke fun at their age gap as Eilish - who turned 21 in December - wore a baby costume and he was dressed as an old man.
When their relationship became public, many people pointed out how Eilish was 20 years old at the time and Rutherford is 31.
In her sixth interview with Vanity Fair, which charted her ever-growing career, she gave a huge smile when asked if she's dating someone in 2022, before admitting how 'cool' it feels to be dating someone again.

“I’m really happy about it," she said.
"I managed to get my way to a point in my life where I not only was known by a person that I thought was the hottest f**king f**ker alive, but pulled his a**.
"Round of applause for me...all me...I did that s**t. I locked that motherf***er down.”
