Music star Billie Eilish is a bit of an odd one, but her stories certainly are legendary.
And speaking in a recent interview, the pop star explained what caused her to realize she needed to break up with her boyfriend.
In a recent interview with Chicken Shop Date host Amelia Dimoldenberg ahead of the Oscars, Eilish explained her odd reason for breaking up with a previous partner.

Without naming who the individual was, she explained that Christian Bale was part of the reason she broke up with them.
During the interview that she did with her brother Finneas, the topic eventually moved to superheroes.
Eilish said she doesn’t know much about the genre but that Christian Bale’s Batman was one of her favorites.

“I gotta be real,” she confessed, "A couple years ago, I had a dream about Christian Bale, and it was in a little cafe in the sunlight, and it made me realize I had to break up with my boyfriend at the time."
“No, like, genuinely. I woke up and I was like [gasps] and I came to my senses," the singer added as the trio burst into laughter.
Admittedly, I'm not sure what Eilish means by this... did she realize her boyfriend didn’t match up to Bale? Or that Batman simply told her their current relationship wasn’t up to scratch?
Eilish’s most recent relationship, that we know of, was with Jesse Rutherford of the Neighbourhood and she confirmed their split in May of last year.

But back in May, her reps confirmed they had split to Page Six, saying: “We can confirm Billie and Jesse split amicably and remain good friends.”
Eilish also reaffirmed her single status after doing a Q&A with her fans on Instagram stories.
A fan wrote “Are you dating anyone?”, to which the Grammy Award-winner responded: “NO SIRRRRRRR,” with three grinning face emojis.

In the background of her pretty happy answer, the ‘Your Power’ singer smiles with her mouth open, as though she’s shouting it at the camera.
Another fan specifically asked her about Rutherford and Eilish said they are ‘very very good friends only’ and added: “My homie forever.”
The couple had attended the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty together in March and celebrated Easter together in April last year.
When Eilish’s rep confirmed the split to People in May, they added: “All cheating rumors are false. Both are currently single.”
