However, the Super Mario Bros. Movie star says that is time that is wasted that could be better spent with your child.
Speaking to Men's Journal, the actor said: "People say all the time, 'Don’t rush to have kids'. I personally disagree. Rush. Have them.
"Of course, make sure you find a great partner, but don’t wait.
"I was talking to Adam Sandler a while back and he said, 'Every day you wait is a day they don’t get to have you in their life'.

"That level of responsibility opens up a whole new cavern of emotional potential.
"What would you do to save them? What would happen to you mentally if you lost them?

"That instinct you have to protect them— those are all things you can try to fake, but it doesn’t really come close to what you have access to when you've lived it."
Chris Pratt isn't the only big name celebrity who has been calling for people to have kids.
Elon Musk is a big proponent of procreation as he fears Earth will eventually go into population decline if not enough people have children.

He told the Wall Street Journal a few years ago that ‘if people don’t have more children, civilization is going to crumble’, adding: "Mark my words."
Well, that sounds ominous.
"So many people, including smart people, think there are too many people in the world and think the population is growing out of control. It’s completely the opposite," he explained to the news outlet.
