Dakota Johnson has called out her mum Melanie Griffith for sharing childhood photos of her on social media.
The 33-year-old star is unimpressed with her famous mum - who has half a million followers and is an Oscar-nominated actor herself - after she shared throwback snaps of her online without her consent. I can’t say I blame her for that.
Speaking on The Late Late Show With James Corden earlier this year, Johnson revealed that as she doesn’t use social media, she isn’t even aware her mum has posted any photos until they’re ‘baked’ into the internet.

Johnson told Corden: "I don't like it, but I also don't go on social media, so I don't find out about it until it's really baked into the Internet, and somebody will send it to me like, 'Oh, you were so ugly - or you were so cute, when you had braces and a slicked back ponytail'.
“I become like a 12-year-old and I'm like, 'Mom, you can't do that. We've had this conversation so many times!'
"She doesn't care."

Johnson went on to stress that her mum is ‘the most amazing person’ but - like a lot of parents - she does embarrass her ‘in front of a lot of people’.
Sharing an example of one such occasion, Johnson recalled a time her mum embarrassed in front of her childhood crush - Jonathan Taylor Thomas - after spotting him in an airport.
Johnson went on: "Saw him in the airport and I was like, ‘Oh my god, Mom - I think I was eight - Oh my god, Mom, it's him, it's really him. I was like, ‘We're gonna be married. We're gonna be together forever…We're the same. We love each other.'"

At this point, Griffith’s decided to shout out over to the young star to introduce herself and called him over. I’m getting a bit of second-hand embarrassment here.
Meanwhile, a red-faced Johnson was ‘across the airport behind a plant’ trying to be invisible - but that may not have been a smart move as she admitted, ‘it was obvious, I was very visible, I couldn't hide behind the plant… it wasn't like a tree’
Seems like it was a bit of a double whammy of embarrassment, really?

It’s good to see that years later her mum still has the ability to embarrass her and now, thanks to the internet, she doesn’t even need to be in the same room… or airport.
