Never ones to miss a chance to rain on someone's parade, people on the internet are reacting to J.Lo's name change after her wedding this weekend - and some aren't happy
Jenny from the block changed her name after marrying Ben Affleck in Vegas recently, and some commentators have decided that somehow this is their time to shine.
They shouldn't be surprised though, as Jenny From The Block hinted that is might happen almost two decades ago.

In the 2003 airing of Ben & Jen: A Dateline Special, the singer was asked whether she'd change her legal name and stage name, to which she responded: "I think I’m going to stay with Jennifer Lopez, but my name will be Jennifer Affleck, obviously."
Now, assuming that nothing's changed, J.Lo will legally be called Jennifer Affleck but when we scream at her concerts, she's strictly J.Lo, not J.Af - as far as we're aware.
Still, that didn't stop some people from reacting wildly to her new name after the couple's marriage documents were shared on Twitter by Buzzfeed journalist, David Mack.

The name change was later confirmed by Jennifer, who signed off an email to fans saying: "With love, Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”

And, of course, people took to Twitter to comment, with one user saying: "Not great, but can we talk more about Geza?" Seemingly referencing Ben's middle name included in the documents.
To be fair, it was a shock to us too but, in the immortal words of Danny Dyer, he does seem like an absolute geeza.
Another wrote: "I refuse to call her J.Aff," which we're not sure anyone was asking you to but ok.
A third questioned: "Wait, why DON’T both parties take each other’s last name. Way more romantic," and actually Ben Lopez is a whole other vibe.

But, either way, we're just glad that the couple are happy - as J.Lo said in her latest fan email: "in the end it was the best possible wedding we could have imagined. One we dreamed of long ago and one made real (in the eyes of the state, Las Vegas, a pink convertible and one another) at very, very long last."
Congratulations to the Afflecks - champagne to their real friends and real pain to their sham friends, etc.
We know that's going to wind people up, that's why we wrote it. GET OVER IT.
