Hailey Bieber is recovering after being hospitalised for a blood clot in her brain that caused her to suffer 'stroke-like symptoms.'
The model confirmed reports that she'd been taken to hospital with a brain-related condition several days ago, telling her followers in a message posted to Instagram that she was now back home and in full health.
'On Thursday morning, I was sitting at breakfast with my husband when I started having stroke like symptoms and was taken to the hospital,' she wrote.
'They found I had suffered a very small blood clot to my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed it on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours.'

Bieber, who is 25, did not disclose what the cause of the clot was, and ended her message by thanking the healthcare staff who helped her, as well as friends and fans who had reached out with support.
'Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I’ve ever been through, I’m home now and doing well, and I’m so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me!' she wrote. 'Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes and concern, and for all the support and love.'
Reports initially emerged of Bieber's hospitalisation through TMZ, which said on Saturday that the model had been taken to a Palm Springs area hospital following a 'medical emergency' that had impacted her mobility.
The health scare comes just a few weeks after her husband Justin Bieber was forced to postpone a number of shows as part of his Justice world tour after testing positive for Covid-19. It's not known if Hailey Bieber had subsequently tested positive herself.

Bieber has since returned to tour, performing a string of dates in the married couple's hometown of LA earlier this month.
While Bieber took to Instagram to speak about her hospitalisation after it was leaked to gossip sites, the model has previously said she's grown more reluctant to share details about her private life, claiming she feels it's become impossible to do so candidly without her words being twisted.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, she explained that 'it doesn’t feel worth it to me anymore when I try to have an open conversation with someone... and then it gets taken out of context.'
