An influencer has recreated Doja Cat's incredible Paris Fashion Week look and pulled it off stunningly.
Haley Kalil decided she would take on the biggest look of 2023 so far for the Vogue party at New York Fashion Week.
She sat in a chair for nine hours while 30,000 stones were placed on her face and body in an attempt to see what it would be like to be in Doja's shoes for a day.

While they would look like twins if they strutted the red carpet together, Haley realised that it was going to be a wild ride once she was done with the outfit.
"I don't know how to get it off my body," she said in a video to TikTok.
She revealed the look was so incredibly itchy, however she wasn't able to scratch them in case the stones fell off.

However, once she was ready to go back to regular Haley, she found herself in a lot of pain.
She then took her followers on a journey showing how she went from scratching off the stones to using different liquids to get them off faster.
Kalil was able to peel off big chunks, however she was clearly in pain in certain parts.

The influencer and model quickly realised it would be far easier to just jump in the shower to get the rest of the stones off and that's exactly what she did.
She came back and looked a lot more human-like, even though she still had some paint stains on her body.
While it might have been a painful experience, she said it was by far her favourite look she's done recently and also added that her skin has never felt softer.
Doja wore this look back in January and she too had 30,000 Swarovski crystals applied to her face and body by hand.

The outfit was part of the Haute Couture SS23 show held at Petit Palais in Paris during the prestigious Paris Fashion Week.
Breaking the outfit down into its carefully-crafted constituent parts, fashion designer Schiaparelli outlined Doja's 'red silk faille bustier' and 'hand-knit skirt of lacquered wooden beads'.
She also had what they referred to as 'trompe l’œil toe boots', where you could seen the individual toes on the boot.
And with the name 'Doja's Inferno', it's clear that this outfit is definitely a statement.

So much so, that people are willing to recreate it for some content creation and deal with the consequences later.
