James Corden has apologized after being labelled ‘the most abusive customer’ by the owner of the fine dining establishment Balthazar.
Restaurateur Keith McNally revealed that he banned the late-night talk-show host from his New York eatery and aired two alleged incidents where Corden displayed less than appropriate behaviour.
After being '86'd' by McNally, the comedian has issued an apology.

The Balthazar owner took to his Instagram to disclose that Corden had personally called him up to ‘profusely' say sorry.
However, the restaurateur joked that he would forgive the Cinderella actor if he allowed him to host his show for a pretty hefty stint.
He added: “But....anyone magnanimous enough to apologize to a deadbeat layabout like me (and my staff) doesn’t deserve to be banned from anywhere.

"Especially Balthazar. So Come Back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Corden, Jimmy Corden. All is Forgiven.”
The Brit’s apology comes after McNally sprayed him on social media.
In his Instagram post, McNally called Corden ‘a tiny cretin of a man’ and included two manager reports of abuse claims.
In the first report, one staff member recorded an incident where the comedian was ‘extremely nasty’ to the venue’s manager.

He allegedly said to the employee: “Get us another round of drinks this second. And also take care of all of our drinks so far. This way I write any nasty reviews in yelp or anything like that."
In the second reported incident, a manager recalled when Corden’s wife ordered an egg yolk omelette with gruyere cheese and salad. However, Corden complained that there was ‘a little bit of egg white mixed with the egg yolk’.
The report noted that after the dish was returned to the kitchen, to James’ horror, they re-served the dish with ‘home fries’ instead of salad.

Allegedly he yelled to the server: "You can't do your job! You can't do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelette myself!"
The report added that he was given a glass of champagne for compensation; however, the waiter remained ‘very shaken’ from the ordeal.
While we appreciate the apology, we can’t help but think it's the late-night talk show host preventing a PR crisis from unfolding.
Maybe after the comedian retires from The Late Late Show next year, he might take up a job at a restaurant to see what it's like when you're bussing tables.
