The husband of former YouTube star Jenna Marbles has confirmed their house was broken into by someone who has been harassing the family for weeks.
The YouTuber, whose real name is Jenna Nicole Mourey, had just celebrated the New Year when her husband Julien Solomita shared the news of their break-in through a post on his Instagram story yesterday (2 January).
Mourey lives with the content creator, who produces gaming videos on Twitch, and their dogs.

He described the intruder as a woman that neither he or Mourey know, saying:" Today someone broke into our house. A woman... entered our home unannounced."
Solomita went on to explain that he managed to subdue the intruder with pepper spray and lock her out of the house before calling the police.
It's unclear how quickly police arrived on the scene, but Solomita made clear that the woman didn't get away as she was 'apprehended and arrested' by responding officers.

"Jenna, the dogs and myself are all safe," he explained. "While this person is a complete stranger to me, they have been harassing me at my home throughout the last two months."
Solomita explained that he had been trying to keep the issue 'offline' for 'safety reasons' but decided to share his story after news of the break-in leaked.
"We were notified that a media outlet had information on today's event and are planning on running a story so I wanted you to hear what happened from me first," he said.

News of the intrusion comes just a few days after Solomita announced his and Mourey's marriage in a post showing him kissing the former YouTuber on the cheek.
Mourey grinned while wearing a long white gown, a white veil and white sunglasses, while Solomita was dressed in a suit.
The post also included an image of Solomita in front of writing which read 'just married', and a number of snaps including their dogs.
Alongside the images, Solomita wrote: "married otters."

The pair were flooded with congratulatory messages from fans and followers, with fellow YouTuber Jacksepticeye writing: "OMG!! Huge congrats to you both!! Finally did it to em."
Following her rise to fame on YouTube, Mourey announced her departure from the platform in 2020 after facing backlash for her content.
She apologised for her actions at the time, saying: "I just want to make sure the things I’m putting in the world aren’t hurting anyone … so I need to be done with this channel, for now or for forever."
