The Kardashian/Jenner clan have long been blasted for setting unrealistic beauty standards, but Kim has insisted their looks are ‘attainable’.
Despite appearing markedly different to the 00s version of herself, the 41-year-old reality TV star has maintained that she’s had minimal work done over the years.
In a new interview with Allure, she was asked directly about whether or not she’s had any procedures on her face of late.

“A little bit of Botox,” she replied, before claiming she’s got no filler. When pressed about whether there’s anything in her cheeks and lips, Kim said, “Never filled either one, ever.”
She also denied wearing eyelash extensions, despite the fact that journalist Danielle Pergament described her lashes as ‘insanely long’, adding that they ‘fan like they’re advertising eyeballs’.
While the online community has a lot to say about Kim’s surgery denial, one thing she can’t back out of is the fact that she lost 16 pounds in three weeks in order to slip into her 2022 Met Gala dress.

The dress in question was famously worn by Marilyn Monroe when she sang Happy Birthday to President John F Kennedy, and Kim said to fit into it she had to go on a strict diet that left her with psoriatic arthritis.
But when asked if she feels responsible or even guilty for setting unattainable beauty standards, the socialite replied: “If I’m doing it, it’s attainable.”
“There are so many different beauty standards – whether it’s Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez, Marilyn Monroe. When I was a teenager, [the look] was just blonde waifs,” she continued.
“My mentality was never like, you see them on TV or in magazines and pick who you want to be. It was always: Be yourself, find beauty in everything.”

Kim did admit that she cares a lot about the way she looks, telling the reporter: “I probably care more than 90% of the people on this planet.
“It’s not easy when you’re a mom and you’re exhausted at the end of the day or you’re in school, and I’m all of the above. I do my beauty treatments usually late at night. After everyone’s in bed, I’m doing laser treatments.”
The influencer also addressed the recent revelation that she’d eat poop if it meant she’d stay looking young, stating: “I was kind of joking, but now that I think about it, I would probably eat s**t if someone told me, ‘If you eat this bowl of poop every single day, you’ll look younger'.”
Dozens of people have weighed in on the interview since it was published this week, with fans describing Kim’s claims as ‘lies’.

USA Today editor Anika Reed wrote on Twitter, “I’ll say this: to have her in front of you and not press her on what she’s had done beyond Botox is irresponsible, and the passing mention that ‘she built her body’ is so frustrating.”
Another person said, “This long-term subscriber just CANCELED after reading this story full of LIES and the gross injustice this story is for your young impressionable women.”
“The deceit here is breathtaking,” added a third. “The long term harm these people have done to girls, women, popular social discourse is staggering, all the while reaping billions of dollars.

“That your magazine feels it needs to be complicit is just cynical and money grabbing on top.”
