Christopher Mintz-Plasse, who played McLovin in the iconic 2007 comedy Superbad, has had a habit of rubbing people up the wrong way.
In fact, the actor once got on the wrong side of a news reporter so quickly that she slapped him on live television.
Plasse was doing an interview on Fox's Good Day New York with Rosanna Scotto to promote the film Year One when things escalated at rapid speed.

Rosanna had been asking Christopher about rumours that his mother often visited him on set, even when he's shooting sex scenes when it went down.
"Yeah, she comes, she flies to Toronto to visit me. She loves me and she likes to support me," said the McLovin actor politely.
"I know that she said - which was kind of a little strange, you know, because I'm a mom too - she sat in while you were filming that sex scene for Superbad?" asked the Fox reporter.
Making light of the question, Plasse played dumb and replied: "Yeah, that's not normal? Moms don't sit in on their kids having sex?"

Laughing, Rosanna replied: "I don't think so!"
Going in on the joke, Christopher then said: "Come on! You've seen your daughter have sex."
Within a split second, Rosanna's demeanour did a full 180 and went from charming entertainment reporter to angry mom.

"Hey!" she yelled before raising her hand and slapping the actor. "My daughter has not!"
In the background, crew members can be heard laughing nervously while Christopher tries to keep a smile on his face.
Trying to get her interview back on track and compose herself, Rosanna gives an awkward laugh and says: "Christopher! Let's talk about Year One."
Not the most professional moment...

Rosanna actually spoke about the infamous slap as recently as 2021, when Fox 5 was marking the 40th birthday of Christopher Mintz-Plasse's character McLovin.
After watching it back, Rosanna, admitted, 'I did lose my mind,' before adding: "He's lucky he didn't get punched in the nose."
She also confirmed that she didn't slap Christopher in the face or the arm, but on the calf.
The reporter then joked: "Thank you so much for bringing that up again because now I'm really angry."

I guess she's still not over that one.
Rosanna isn't the only person who Christopher has managed to p**s off over the years, though.
In fact, his own Superbad co-star Jonah Hill 'hated' him at first.
Speaking about Christopher's audition, Jonah admitted in an interview with Vanity Fair that Christopher, who was just 17 at the time, was 'really, really amazing off the bat,' but was 'really annoying' too.
Seth Rogen, who wrote the film and played Officer Michaels, added: "Jonah immediately hated him. He was like, 'That was f*cking with my rhythm. I couldn’t perform with that guy.'"
And, according to director Judd Apatow, that's exactly why they hired him.
"It couldn’t be more perfect," he remembers telling Hill. "The fact that it bothers you is exactly what we want."
