Megan Fox once refused a rose from a young fan and was never able to make up for it – even after he was identified.
Back in 2009, long before she and Machine Gun Kelly were acting like horny teenagers on social media, Fox had her sights set on building her acting career.
And by this point she had achieved star status in Hollywood after landing the major role as Sam Witwicky's (Shia LaBeouf) love interest, Mikaela Banes, in the Transformers movies.

It's no surprise that she'd racked up a dedicated following of fans along the way, including a young British boy named Harvey Kindlon.
The then 11-year-old rose to unexpected fame after paparazzi pictures emerged showing him attempting to give a yellow rose to Fox as she's being pulled along by security.
Kindlon appears eager to give the actress his gift, but despite thrusting it inches near her face, she carries on with a rather disgusted look on her face.

As is often the case with such incidents, all is not what it seems.
You see, Kindlon received an outpouring of sympathy from people online, who nicknamed him 'Rose Boy'. Original.
When Megan, who was 23 at the time, caught wind of the conversation during a junket, she replied with a heartfelt apology.
She said: "There were, like, 80 million people everywhere. It was dark, all I see are flashes. Everyone's yelling different things... and I didn't know that was happening.

"I feel so sad for him. That's so terrible. That kills me."
Fox added: "I'm sorry sweet boy, I would never do that to you. I would gladly accept your rose if ever see you again.
"Paparazzi would not let me to you. I'm so embarrassed."

So she simply wasn't allowed to accept the rose – but the story doesn't end there.
Before the boy's identity had been revealed, Kodak offered a reward to anyone who could help track him down.
They were also offering the boy $5,000 in order to make his dream of meeting the star come true.
Leslie Dance, Vice President of Kodak’s Worldwide Brand Marketing & Communications, told PerezHilton.com: "It’s amazing how just a photograph can connect and change the lives of two complete strangers.

"If this photo is any indication, this boy was really hoping to meet Megan Fox and give her that rose, and we’d love to help make his fantastical wish come true."
It didn't take long before they found Kindlon, with his cousin Holly Bramley later confirming that he would be heading to New York to meet Fox in person.
The plan was for the pair to reunite while Fox was in town for a TV appearance, but her plans were scuppered when the show was cancelled in light of Michael Jackson's death.
She headed back to LA and poor little Kindlon was snubbed for a second time.
At the time, reports suggested that the whole thing was organised poorly and there was never a solid date and time set in stone for Kindlon to meet his idol.
Either way, he did enjoy some couch time on Good Morning America and made the most out of his 15 minutes of fame.
Here's hoping he's not too cut up about the whole thing all these years later.
