Michael Caine made a bold return to Twitter, sharing one important word with the world.
The much-loved 89-year-old actor has always been sporadic at best with his output on the social media platform, and has been silent since the second week of January, when he shared a photo of a golf buggy along with the caption: "Only The Best To All Of You."
But after months of silence, the Oscar-winner clearly had something to get off his chest.

"Hello!" he tweeted.
Honestly, who needs 280 characters? Michael Caine is keeping it simple.
Indeed, he evidently doesn't need to write War and Peace, 'cause the above incredibly straightforward tweet managed to rack up more than 159,000 likes.

He followed it up 11 minutes later with a comparatively lengthy tweet, which perhaps indicated that he's done with the platform for another four months or so.
He wrote: "Good Night My Sweet Ones."
One man who has said that he will not be returning to Twitter is Donald Trump.

The former POTUS was permanently suspended from the site in January 2021, with Twitter citing 'the risk of further incitement of violence' as the reason for the ban.
But in the wake of Elon Musk taking over the company, many people have speculated that this ban could be overturned.
Trump welcomed the Twitter takeover - which cost the Tesla boss $44 billion (£34.5 billion) - but said he would be sticking with his own platform, TRUTH.
Speaking to Fox, Trump said: "I am not going on Twitter. I am going to stay on TRUTH.

"I hope Elon buys Twitter because he'll make improvements to it, and he is a good man, but I am going to be staying on TRUTH."
TRUTH, operated and owned by The Trump Media & Technology Group, officially launched last month and is already seeing 'millions' of people signing up - according to Trump.
He added: "We're taking in millions of people, and what we're finding is that the response on TRUTH is much better than being on Twitter.

"Twitter has bots and fake accounts, and we are doing everything we can."
But while the 75-year-old claims he has no interest in returning, many Twitter users find his claims hard to believe.
One person wrote: "Don't think for ONE second he's not coming back to Twitter. He will."
Another added: "There aren't enough wild horses in the world to drag Trump AWAY from Twitter if Musk overturns his ban."
