Miley Cyrus has said it was a ‘real trip’ to film a specific Black Mirror scene while her home was burning down.
The ‘Flowers’ singer appeared in season five of the hit Netflix series, playing popstar Ashley O.
As the episode continues, it’s revealed the character is being controlled by her manager and is sedated without consent.

But while this was being filmed, the star's home was being destroyed by the 2018 Woolsey fire.
Cyrus reflected on the tragic scenario in her new TikTok series.
In the videos, the Hannah Montana star looks back on her past and shares 'untold stories’ to tie in with the release of her latest single, ‘Used to be Young’.

For 'Part 36', she begins the video with a clip from Black Mirror when Ashley O is tied down to a bed to be injected.
“I was in South Africa, but it was taking place in Malibu,” she explained.
“So it was just a real trip.”

Cyrus went on to add that around two or three years later, she ‘would have this anxiety attack’ attached with a vision where she was ‘strapped down to a gurney’.
“I would have these dreams anytime I would go to perform. And I just thought that was just an anxious vision that made no sense,” she said.
“But actually as my house was burning down, I was strapped to a gurney with my hands locked in handcuffs, strapped to a bed.”

Then the next day after finding out her home ‘had burned day’, she shares a clip she’d filmed performing a music video as Ashley O.
The star said: “The show must go on.”
At the time of the Woolsey fire, which destroyed many buildings in the area, Cyrus lived with her then-partner Liam Hemsworth.
The ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer described herself as ‘one of the lucky ones’ despite losing her house.

She wrote on Twitter at the time: “My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely and that’s all that matters right now.
“My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family and friends stand strong. I am grateful for all I have left.”
In other parts of her TikTok series, Cyrus also opened up about her relationship with her dad Billy Ray Cyrus, her ‘undeniable chemistry’ with Hemsworth as young actors, and her shocking daily schedule from when she was a child star.
