Former adult film actress Adriana Chechik has been retired since late 2022 and seemingly isn’t looking back.
The former porn star was among the most popular in the industry during her career, which spanned from 2013 to 2022.
However, a transition to streaming on Twitch has led Chechik down a different path of fame and has made her retirement from the physically taxing adult film world far easier for the 32-year-old.

Chechik discussed her decision to retire from porn in an interview on the Holly Randall Unfiltered Podcast, noting that she wanted to show a different side of herself to the world by streaming on Twitch.
“Twitch has been the best blessing for me,” Chechik explained.
“I wasn’t even making money from it [at first], but I was just somewhere where people were valuing me for me."

The feeling of being somewhat dehumanized as a porn actress is a common one for many stars of that industry, making Adriana’s move to Twitch something that felt like a breath of fresh air for the award-winning adult star.
Furthermore, the insulated nature of the porn industry led to Chechik feeling cut off from her various interests and people outside of her bubble.
"I was craving intellectuality and learning, and I just wasn't getting it… I was so enwrapped in porn that I didn't have any notion of the outside world," Chechik said.
“Getting on Twitch really opened my eyes,” Chechik admitted.

“The experiences and conversations on there have made me realize, 'you're more than just how you've fetishized yourself,' because I fetishized myself; it also gave me the understanding that I am more than this."
In the time since leaving porn, Chechik has amassed over 860,000 followers on Twitch and over 4.2 million on Instagram.
In the interview with Holly Randall, Chechik also noted her interest in becoming a life coach as a way to help others improve their lives and seek out what they aspire to do.

Chechik explained: “I want to get into life coaching. I call it kindness coaching. I want to get into helping people realize how kind the world is."
However, her life post-pornography has been far from perfect, as the Pennsylvania native broke her back in October 2022 by jumping into a shallow foam pit at that year’s TwitchCon.
The injury required intensive surgery and rehab, with the streamer still experiencing the effects of such a severe injury to this day.
