Fans are in disbelief after watching a fan bypass security swiftly to grab Angelina Jolie while she was at the Toronto International Film Festival.
There's no doubting that Angelina Jolie is one of the biggest film stars in Hollywood, and the Oscar-winning actor is very much used to her celebrity status at this point.
That said, while the star was at the Toronto International Film Festival this week, people were stunned in a moment that could have gone very wrong quickly.

The actress was at the event for the premiere of her war drama, Without Blood, which she co-wrote and directed.
In one sweet moment, Jolie stopped to pose with fans for photos and attempted to sign just about everything that was shoved close enough... Sort of a normal scene for most celebs.
But the situation took a turn when a fan was able to get past security and grab onto Jolie to hug her.

After the initial shock wore off, Jolie appeared to hug her back and the pair briefly chatted.
The bold fan, who was visibly overcome with emotion, was then quickly escorted away by security with Jolie telling them to be nice to the fan, in hopes to avoid any aggressive attempts to remove her.
A clip of the incident has already begun to spread on multiple social media platforms with many people praising the actress for her response while also highlighting how the incident could have gone wrong very quickly.
Writing on Twitter, one person commented: “This is so scary…. imagine if it was the wrong type of 'fan'."

Another commented: “She actually handled that really nicely, but at the same time, someone in that security team needs to be fired. Cause what if she had a knife???"
A third wrote: “[Wow] she needs better security, if a fan can reach her that easily imagine someone that wants to hurt her, there's a lot of crazy people out there.”
And another added: “She handled this with such grace, a true queen.”

A fifth person commented: “Angelina handled that so great and she even told the security to be nice when the fan was being escorted out.”
Jolie certainly handled the situation a lot better than I would - Being surprise grabbed by a stranger and coerced to give them a hug isn’t my idea of an ideal night at a film festival.
