A journalist has revealed that Anne Hathaway has reached out and apologized to her after she spoke out about an awkward interview experience.
I'm sure we'll all recognize Norwegian entertainment reporter Kjersti Flaa, as she went viral recently after calling out Blake Lively's behavior in a 'shocking' 2016 interview.
Well, it turns out that this experience wasn't a one off as earlier this week, Kjersti shared another story about interviewing Devil Wears Prada star Anne Hathaway.

Kjersti was interviewing the actress and her Les Misérables cast mates ahead of the musical's release in 2012.
In a YouTube video titled 'This might be my worst interview idea ever,' Kjersti explained she decided to sing questions to the cast, asking them to sing back in response.
Kjersti said of the idea: “Kind of a silly thing, but I thought it was fun. It was a musical, after all, and most actors played along with it.”

But Hathaway 'was not very positive to that idea,' Kjersti said. In a clip from the press junket, Anne was seen instantly shutting down the idea, awkwardly laughing before saying: "Well I won't be doing that, but you're more than welcome to sing."
Kjersti went on to say the interview went downhill from there and that Hathaway 'was being quite dismissive' towards her.
In a follow-up video this week, however, she revealed she was 'shocked' to receive an email apology via Hathaway's publicist.
In the video, aptly titled 'Anne Hathaway just apologized to me for my bad 2012 interview with her,' the journalist said: “I have to say I was pretty shocked.

"I had not expected her to reach out to me at all. I thought she was never going to even see that video. But she did. And she did something pretty amazing.”
Kjersti explained: “She sent me a long email explaining to me what she was going through right then when she did this interview and she apologized for giving me an awful interview, basically. It was so touching to me.
“Talking about it makes me almost teary eyed because I was just so grateful that she did that. And it was a very personal note.”

She continued: “We decided that I wouldn’t share exactly what was in the email. But I just wanted to share with you guys what she did because I thought that was just so amazing.”
The journalist explained that she responded to the email, expressing her gratitude for the apology. Hathaway also apparently invited her to another interview in May for a new film she's promoting.
“I’m really looking forward to that,” Kjersti added. “And thank you so much for doing that. And just. I mean, I have so much respect for people who own up to their mistakes and say they’re sorry.

"So it’s such a powerful word."
The reporter also said that the interview was 'a long time ago now' and she has 'no hard feelings about it' - which can't be said about her now-viral interview with Blake Lively, in which the journalist said the interview was that bad, it made her 'want to quit my job'.
UNILAD has contacted Anne Hathaway's publicist for further comment.
