Fans are all saying the same thing after watching Ariana Grande's latest interview.
The celebrity had appeared on the podcast Podcrushed with hosts Nava Kavelin and Sophie Ansari, and discussed many aspects of her life and career in the two-part appearance.
This included her role as Glinda in the 2024 movie adaptation of the stage play Wicked.

Grande became emotional about the role and working with co-star Cynthia Erivo, saying: "God, I'm not getting emotional again today; no, we're not doing it.
"But, no, it really was, because I think, um, there's something baked into these roles where you're so different from one another that you never know how it can go. When you, you know like, you're sharing this experience in a big way, in a very big way."
She added: "People have needs and people have their own creative process and you never know, like, are we... are we going to be healthy? It was the most symbiotic, beautiful... I feel very grateful to have done this with her."
But fans' attention was drawn to a wholly different aspect of the interview, and one moment in particular.

This was an instance during the podcast where Grande's voice changed abruptly, seemingly mid-sentence.
At the start, Grande had been speaking a lower voice, but this soon changed.
The star switched her voice up to a far higher register, which fans are also familiar with, and many people commented on social media about the strange moment.

One person asked: "Literally why does she do this", while another observed how marked the change was, posting: "I knew she did this but to hear it in one setting made it more jarring I LOVE her."
A third joked: "This is me talking to my coworkers then switching to customers."
But others observed that the star may have been deliberately using the higher-pitched voice for a specific reason.

One wrote: "I'm pretty sure she speaks in a mixed voice rather than chest for interviews and long speaking stuff for vocal health!"
Another posted: "Isn't she all about her vocal cords health? She always talk[s] about it."
In an interview with Zach Sang Grande opened up about vocal training for Wicked, saying: “I tried to use that to take lessons every single day while I was doing The Voice and get ready for these auditions,” she said, thanking her coaches.
“I trained every day with Nancy [Banks] and with Eric [Vetro] to transform my voice, even — like, my singing voice — everything about me, I had to deconstruct to prove to them I could handle taking on this other person.”
