Whether you plan on having a candle-lit dinner or just treating it like any other Wednesday, 14 February is well and truly the day of love.
And what better way to celebrate Valentine's Day itself than writing love letters for your other half - unless you are Ben Affleck, of course, who was left a little embarrassed by the romantic gesture.
Affleck and Jennifer Lopez took the world by storm when they first emerged as a couple in 2002, though them same fans were quickly left devastated after they separated just a couple of years later.

After the pair went through many relationships, the pair rekindled their romance and went on to get married in 2022.
Now, the celebrity couple seem to be happier than ever, even if Affleck never seems to smile in public appearances.
Just a few months after the pair tied the knot once more, Lopez got a call from Jane Fonda after the former asked the latter to appear in a yet-undefined film that would follow Lopez's romantic failures, including that of Affleck.

Benny Medina, Lopez’s longtime manager, quickly removed any doubts Fonda had for the film.
"I believe that everyone in the entire world is pulling for this relationship and this love," he told Variety.
"And the idea of how you present that is so sacrosanct, so important. It should be handled in a way that you aren’t overly flaunting it, so much so that it creates any form of criticism or resentment."
Lopez has since gone on to tell Medina untold stories about her search for love, particularly in those years where she was separated from Affleck.

Her manager ultimately urged her to consider making an album about her reunion with the actor.
"Let me put you in touch with some writers who can help you transcribe this," Medina told her, as per Variety.
Lopez subsequently invited a bunch of musicians over to her house and showed them a stash of love letters Affleck had written her titled 'The Greatest Love Story Never Told'.

Well, Affleck comes into the room in the documentary while all this is going on and seems taken aback that his letters are being passed around the room.
"I did really find the beauty and the poetry and the irony in the fact that it’s the greatest love story never told. If you’re making a record about it, that seems kind of like telling it," Affleck tells the camera.
Awkward...
