Delays to Euphoria's third season isn't just frustrating for fans, but for the cast too.
The HBO favorite first aired back in 2019 and propelled the likes of Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi into global stardom.
It's so far had two seasons, and a third is said to be on the way; but when filming begins for the next series currently remains unclear.
It was announced on social media in February 2022 that a third season would be happening and, while fans hoped that it would air sooner rather than later, last year's SAG-AFTRA strikes delayed production (as it did with many highly anticipated TV shows and movies).

While a lot of the leading cast members have been busy with other projects in the meantime, Nika King - who stars as Rue's mom in Euphoria - has been patiently waiting for the drama to start filming again.
In clip of a recent stand-up show the actress and comic has done, King told the audience: "Season three [of Euphoria] is coming out, I don’t f**king know. Don’t ask me, I don’t know."
She went on: "I know, it’s one of those things. People are like, 'We need season three', and I’m like b***h, I need season three. I haven’t paid my rent in six months."

Noting lead actor Zendaya's very busy schedule, King went on to jest: "Zendaya’s over in Paris for fashion week, and I’m like, 'b***h come home! I need you. Momma needs you'."
"Y’all laughing, and I’m serious. I haven’t booked nothing since Euphoria. This is some bulls**t," she continued.
King's reps have been contacted for comment.
While the initial delays were as a result of the strikes, the ongoing wait is apparently down to script rewrites.

"[Creator Sam Levinson is] a person who writes and rewrites and writes and rewrites again, because I think he’s wrestling with what’s important," Colman Domingo, who plays Ali Muhammed in the show, told GQ.
"He’s responding immediately to what the ills of the world are. I know that the one thing I can tell you is that he’s very much interested in the existential question of who we are right now. Our souls. That’s what he wants to figure out with season three."
Meanwhile, Jacob Elordi gave an update season three and, like King, admitted he wasn't sure what was happening.
The Saltburn star told Jimmy Fallon when asked when filming will resume: "I don’t know, do you know?"

"I hope it’s soon, or they’re going to have to Benjamin Button me or something," the 26-year-old, who plays a high school student in Euphoria, went on to quip.
