If you’ve ever watched Kitchen Nightmares then you know Gordon Ramsay has tasted some shocking meals in his lifetime, but there’s absolutely one thing he refuses to eat.
57-year-old Ramsay, who currently holds eight Michelin stars, is no stranger to dishing out criticism.
From Hell’s Kitchen to Hotel Hell and MasterChef, the celebrity cook loves to get the best out of his teams and constantly strives for perfection - even if he has to bin a few hot plates to get there.
Since his rise to fame on 1999’s Boiling Point, the father-of-six has documented his love for food and discussed his all-time favorite dishes in various interviews.

In 2020, he told Insider his ‘Death Row’ meal would be a full English breakfast with extra baked beans.
“I stand by it. I swear by it. And it is one meal that I would ever eat as a last supper," he said.
Moreover, the star has previously claimed grits topped with shrimp and Parmesan cheese is his most-beloved American dish while his signature Beef Wellington remains a classic.
When it comes to eating on the go, Ramsay has the option of checking out his own Plane Food establishment at London's Heathrow Airport.

However, if he’s not flying from Terminal 5, then he likes to ‘keep it light’ and check into an Italian snack bar.
“A nice selection of Italian meats, a little glass of red wine, some sliced apples or pears with some parmesan cheese, I’m like a pig in s**t,” he told Refinery29 in 2017.
However, despite owning an eatery called Plane Food, the celebrity chef revealed he’d never actually want to eat the food flight attendants dish out onboard.

“There’s no f***ing way I eat on planes,” he said.
“I worked for airlines for ten years, so I know where this food’s been and where it goes, and how long it took before it got on board."
It’s ironic then that the food Ramsay will absolutely not touch is the name of his airport restaurant, which currently has a strong four star rating on TripAdvisor.
This month, a solo traveller reviewed Ramsay’s Plane Food and wrote: “This is not your usual airport food. Clean location, and a variety of food made for a comfortable lunch."

A second remarked on the establishment’s ‘lovely, quiet atmosphere’ while someone else said that Plane Food was the ‘best spot in terminal five’.
