Isla Fisher has spoken out about her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen for the first time and how it's 'the most difficult thing' she's 'been through'.
Isla Fisher took to her Instagram account in April last year to reveal she and Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen had separated in 2023 after being in a relationship for over 20 years and married for around 13.
Fisher took to her Instagram story to share a photograph of the pair posing together in tennis gear.

The caption read: "After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage.
"We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change. We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy."
Fisher later took to her story again to thank fans for 'all the kindness and support', however, has since remained quiet on publicly addressing the split.
The Now You See Me actor has since opened up about the divorce being the 'most difficult thing' she's 'been through', but noting she's learnt so much about [herself] in the process'.

Fisher told The Times in a new interview: "I never imagined my family being separated but we are committed and loving parents."
Thankfully, Fisher has had 'women in [her] life' who have 'held' her.
"The female relationships that I cultivated in our business, those women have been there for me. I’m actually going to get emotional," she continued. "I’m sitting here today because of them. I’ve learnt so much about the power of female friendship and I’ve just learnt that I do have resilience, who I am outside of a partnership, and what my values are. It’s been this expansive learning curve."

Fisher has spoken out previously about keeping her family life private and how important that is to both her and Cohen.

She told Australian Women's Weekly: "I get nervous talking about it because I feel like, by not having my relationship in the public domain and not having spoken about how we met or really talked about our marriage publicly, it's remained something private and valuable to me.
"But having a shared ability to find humor in the sharpness of life is always going to bring connection.

"And, otherwise, I just think it's nice to keep some things for yourself."
