Jennifer Lopez's Altas co-star stepped in to defend the star when she was asked about rumors about a supposed divorce from Ben Affleck.
Affleck and Lopez's love story is certainly one for the ages. The pair first began dating in the noughties before parting ways in 2004.
However, in 2021, they ended up rekindling their relationship, leading to them to tying the knot in a small wedding ceremony in 2022.

But, in recent weeks, there's been speculation brewing that there's some trouble in paradise for the celebrity couple.
Recent reports alleged that the Justice League star had moved out for another house in the Brentwood neighborhood - without J.Lo.
And a post about not being able to 'build a relationship with someone who is disconnected from themselves', which was allegedly being 'liked' by the singer, has only added fuel to the fire.

While Affleck and Lopez have yet to officially address the rumours, this speculation has now been brought to Lopez's doorstep during the promotion of her new movie Atlas, which is set to drop on Netflix this week.
The Hustlers star appears alongside Simu Liu in the film, and the two were in Mexico City this past week for the Mexican premiere.
During a press conference, one reporter in the crowd directly asked Lopez about the status of her marriage, asking: "Is your divorce with Ben Affleck real? These rumors?"
Before Lopez answered the question, her co-star Liu was quick to call out the journalist.

“Okay, we're not doing that." the Barbie star declared before shifting attention away from the question by thanking those in attendance, adding: "Thank you so much, guys. We really appreciate it. Thank you.
"Don't come in here with that energy, please. Thank you so much."
Liu then went on to compliment Lopez as not only his co-star, but also the producer of the film they were promoting.

"If I could just end on one thing, Jen is a producer on this movie,” Liu further explained.
“The reason why I’m here and the reason why Sterling [K. Brown] was in this beautiful movie is because Jen cares.
"And Jen cares about things like representation and diversity, and she’s a boss.”
While Liu promptly shut down the question, Lopez gave her own response to the reporter, simply stating: “You know better than that.”

In the comments, one person said 'they should leave her alone', while another said her private life is 'her problem not ours'.
While others jumped to praise Liu for his response, calling him a 'gentleman' and a 'king'.
UNILAD has previously contacted Lopez and Affleck's reps for comment.
