Kat Von D has opened up about why she became a devotee of Christianity.
The Mexican-American tattoo artist made headlines when she decided to denounce witchcraft and committed herself to Christianity.
In the biz, we call that rebranding.

The 41 year old recently appeared on an episode of the Relatable podcast with host Allie Beth Stuckey to talk about her change in faith.
The businesswoman spoke about how her parents raised her as missionary Christians and 'grew up with God' in the household.
Shortly after moving to the US as a child, the tattoo artist revealed she began to stray away from her conventional upbringing about adopting a 'freethinking mentality' which saw her 'question everything.'

Then, when she got into her 20s, she was practising 'new age stuff'.
Tarot cards, crystals, the whole hippie witchy package.
However, in lockdown, instead of baking banana bread, Kat re-evaluated her outlook on life.
"[I was] Going down the list of what I'm doing with my life and what my perspectives are and then it got to the part of my spirituality and that's where I started really rethinking a lot of things," she said.

It began with her watching Sunday sermons online and reading the bible.
A dry read, I've heard!
"I came to this really awesome realization that night that I don't want these crutches in my life anymore - and that's what I really saw them as. I just want Jesus," she said.
"I feel like it's a very narrow road. I feel like these breathing techniques or spellwork or nature worship - all of these things are just crutches. They're not really my answer."

She added she is 'on fire for Jesus' and her light isn't 'dimming out anytime soon'.
